My Day...
Bonjour!
I started my day a little aggravated. For one example, I had ordered some stuff to have a cellphone over here. Needless to say, i don't have it all figured out yet and I'm 50 dollars in. I had to get out, so I went to this place by the monastery. It's pretty much a huge rocky cliff. When I got there I found two of my friends and a beautiful sunset. While discussing our problems of the day I picked up a rock and then launched it over the cliff. It felt good. We all decided to continue to throw rocks as far as we could. We did this for a good while before taking a deep breath and heading back inside.
Later that night, the one friend and I decided to take a walk outside. We went to the terrace, climbed onto the railing and took in the view of the stars. Looking off the terrace I felt as if I was floating in midair; as high as the mountain peaks. I can't describe the sight I was taking in. There were the silhouettes of the surrounding mountains, the stars peaking out right above them and then expanding and illuminating the whole sky. As we sat there, soaking it all in, I realized that this is what life is all about. I realized that after studying tons of painters, none can compare to the hand of God.
To sum up my day in the words of Forrest Gump...
It began like:
"Sometimes, I guess there just aren't enough rocks."
It ended like:
"I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and the earth began."
Forrest Gump ♥
"And that's all I have to say about that."
