I've Arrived!

So it took a car, bus, airbus, plane, and bus to get me here, but I'm here! Here is a picture of the two-decker airbus that I flew in.

 It's not a great picture, the plane was huge! After i got to the monastery, where i'm staying, we got a tour and lunch before we were allowed to take a nape (it was mid-day here). Later at night we had supper and watched Gran Torino before going to bed. This morning i slept in til 11 because i was so tired. Then i showered and we had lunch at 12:30. This is what we had for lunch...

The croissant had a meat inside it, it reminded me of a fancy hot pocket. We have the option of salad, bread, fruit, and yogurt with every meal. So far I've liked all the food. After lunch today we got to explore the town. My group was to find the castle ruins which turned out to be quite a hike. Here is the top of the ruins with the monastery in the background....that's how far i walked.

      After the hike we all went to Nadine's (she owns a little cafe in town). We had hot chocolate or cider or whatever we wanted. It was a really nice little cafe. We hiked back up the hill to the monastery and just relaxed until supper. For supper we had some type of beef and little tiny french fry type things that were square. We also had brownies/cake. We eat supper at 7:30 so by the time we were done eating and talking it was already 9pm. The day went by very fast.

    Tomorrow we are going to Albi at 10am and we're going to meet our one professor at the college there which we will have once a week. We are going to eat lunch at the college and take a placement test. After the test we are going to his house for cake.
   Since the Steelers are playing soon (in 10 minutes aka 10:30pm here) I'm going to shower then watch the game before i go to bed. GO STEELERS!!!!!
